Built by a practitioner, not a strategist.
I'm Daniel Grant-Brown, founder of Insightful Minds Consulting. I started this business because there's a lot of noise in the AI advisory market. Plenty of people advising on AI who haven't built with it, and plenty of transformation programmes that never reach production. I wanted to build the opposite of that, a practice focused on what AI can actually do for a business once it's properly implemented.
My background is in product and technology delivery. I've held product and project management roles across FTSE 100 environments, and Director of Product, Director of Engineering, and CTO roles in SaaS businesses ranging from early-stage startups to mature companies. Most recently I was Co-Founder of an AI note-taking application, where I led the build and helped raise pre-seed funding. That combination of enterprise delivery discipline, startup speed, and hands-on AI product work is what shapes how I approach engagements. I've shipped AI systems in production, worked with the people who use them daily, and seen what actually moves the needle for a business versus what looks good in a strategy deck.
Insightful Minds Consulting works the way I'd want a consultant to work for me: direct, evidence-based, and focused on the real pain points a business is experiencing. We don't sell day-rate strategy work. We don't pitch AI as a magic solution. We identify the specific operational problems where AI delivers measurable returns, we build the systems that solve them, and we stay involved until the work is fully embedded. Six things you should know about working with us.

You work directly with the person building it.
No account manager translating between you and the person doing the work. Daniel scopes it, builds it, and stays on it, so nothing gets lost in handoff.

Our AI sticks to what it knows.
We build on Claude, Anthropic's AI model, chosen because it's built to stick to what it actually knows rather than guess. For a system that talks to your customers, that means fewer wrong answers reaching them, not an AI confidently making something up.

Production-grade, not experimental.
Every system we build is designed to run in production from day one. Proper error handling, observability, compliance, and reliability. No proof-of-concept hand-offs.

We stay involved through embedding.
Most AI projects don't fail before launch, they fail after it. The system ships, nobody's properly trained on it, and within months it's quietly abandoned. Staying involved through embedding means tracking adoption and adjusting based on how your team actually uses the system, until it's just part of how you operate, not a project that wrapped.

We'll say so when off-the-shelf is enough.
Not every problem needs a custom build. If an existing tool already solves it, we'll say so, even if it means a smaller engagement.

Evidence over hype.
We identify specific operational problems where AI delivers a measurable return, and build only those. Nothing gets built on the strength of a good pitch alone.
